well i got back yesterday evening from my idaho elk hunt. it went pretty good.i was able to kill this little 6x4 bull on the 2nd day. at first i was a little worried that i shot too soon , but my wife has been hounding me to quit passing up animals so i let him have it. when it was all said and done it turned out to be a tough hunt. the weather was great for a vacation but not really elk hunting weather. and in the higher country there just wasn't alot of animals around, the old snow was extremly crunchy. so i was happy i didn't let this one go. we almost got another bull on the second to last day but he wouldn't give my buddy a shot then he busted so he couldn't shoot him. i heard this bull bugle two times and went and glassed him up, then was able to sneak right in on him to 71 yrds. one shot to the neck and he was down for the count! and not a bit of meat was blood shot! anyway, enjoy the pics

Again, CONGRATS!!!!
Glad you got into them! I will have to talk to you more and get the details. We got three spikes total. We'll have to swap stories.
