Maybe you do not understand conservation but... if you keep taking the babies out of the herd there will never be a truly big elk. I bet you had to check and make sure he was legal a few times?

I am not one to talk, after I saw one with ivory tips this year I could not shoot worth a damn.... he on the wall and in the freezer though so we will not talk about hos many shots it took.

Nice bull. I also killed a muzzle loader bull in unit 10 last fall. 6x6 that i'm proud of but if yours is small, mine is not worth posting!!!
