i dont know if its really spray on, but they do make an "artificial" velvet to touch up places etc

maybe someone with more info on this can chime in

Yes they do have 'artificial' velvet for guys that want it. Personally I think it looks like crap and I'd much rather strip my velvet off and then do a good stain job for hard horned.

i see thanks for posting . no offense but that does look fake .the one downfall of a nice velvet buck and being an archery guy is the mounts always look kind of scraggly and ugly due to the summer shed and the winter coat coming on. so i could see how someone would do that.
