My Utah Extended archery buck

Here is my extended archery buck. I got him yesterday morning. It felt good to get one after MANY days of hard work. He gross scores 185" with 26" main beam on one side and 23" on the other (that side was broken a bit.) He had a 6-7" drop tine a week ago but he busted it off. There is still a little 1" piece of the dropper but it is hard to see in the picture.(it is near my hand) He has 5 points on each side not counting the broken dropper and he also has 3" eyegaurds. It was a fun day. (Two hours straight downhill to pack him out)

Okay, you're obviously a stud bow hunter. I've figured that out by now. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful buck with us.

You are going to repair the dropper on him right?

Sweet buck. Hard work paid off, how many days did you put in after him?

I hit this buck at 35 yards but I had trees to contend with. I thought I hit him just a little back so I followed the blood for 20 yards and found my arrow soaked in blood. Because I wasn't sure about my shot placement I waited an hour and a half. My buddy was giving me a hard time about waiting so long but I kept saying it is better to be safe. When we finally tracked him I got to where my arrow had been and looked into the trees and saw him laying there 20 yards away. I started yelling and screaming I was so pumped. I had sat there for that hour and a half worrying about my shot and although it was a bit back the angle saved me and the exit hole was very deadly. In this picture you can see where the dropper was. I am going to try and get video from the guy who said he videoed him with a dropper last week. I love bowhunting on public land. It is an extreme challenge and when it all comes together it is so rewarding.

You are the man! Steep and rugged and you scored. I am envious but more determined now. Since you tagged, im curious where abouts. I've been chasing a 4pt SE of Dog lake, just N of the summer homes but he keeps giving teasing sightings and then playing ghost on me. :thumb
