My wifes first Mule Deer

A picture of my wifes first Mule Deer. She got him on Sunday in the Blue Mountains of Washington.
We were just sitting on a point watching the sunrise when him and several Does came by us at around 125 yards. One shot with the 243 BLR and the work started.
It took us around 3 hours to get him packed up to the ridge top and hanging in the cool.

That's going to make it hard to build on a buck like that. I can tell you that I didn't drag my buck up anything even close to a hill that steep. That's dedication right there.

Well she loves hunting, hiking and shed hunting, but I have been tasked with all of the cleaning.
