Congrats. If you don't mind my asking what caliber of gun were you using?

I have a bison hunt coming up in just over three weeks and I'm chomping at the bit to get going.

Great job Larry. :thumb =D> It looks like you killed a nice one, any idea on how much he weighed? Did you have to haul it very far or could you drive up to it?

Holy bison - that's a lot of meat. It fills up the bed of that truck nicely. It's amazing how big the melon is on that big brute. Congrats!

I green scored him at 119, it takes 155 to make B&C.

Muzzy, I saw close to 20 shootable bulls before I picked him, It real hard to size up Bison. I was about 600 to 800 yrds from him and he was alone I thought. I almost did not take him because the tips of the horns were pointed and not broomed off but the mass was good for a long ways up.

It's done at last, 364 bls of burger, and some were around 50 bls for steaks and roast.
I'm glad i had a cooler to put it in.

In January you put in for a priroity # for a bull or cow, Last year there was over 1600 res that put in, I know that they planed on giving out 95 lic for bulls and 200 for cows.
I do not know how many no n-res got lic put I would guess 10 to 15%.
