nebraska mule deer

Has anyone ever hunted mule deer in central nebraska. Thinking of a trip there. Game and Parks wildlife officer says they are there (Bessy Nat.Forest area). Never hunted mule deer before would be happy with a doe. Will be bow hunting, choose NE because its is 7hr drive from MO, decent tag price and have no idea to hunt mule deer. ANY HELP?
