Need help for a New Mexico Elk 2

HI There,
I was lucky enough to draw an archery elk tag for unit 53 (Questa, NM area) and have focused in on Latir Peak and Columbine. Planning to set camp in the high country and am wondering if anyone has had any experience in this area.
