New camera

I got a new Cannon S5 IS point and shoot. It's an advanced model that does more than I'll ever learn to do I'm afraid. One thing it does do, and I figured out how to do it, is take videos. Wanting to do some videos of the dogs, when they recover, and put them in the computer. But can't figure out how to do that. Can't find it any where! Anybody have an idea how to do it?
