New Colorado Mapping Site

Guys & Gals,
I'm working on a new online mapping site to help you research your upcoming Colorado hunting location.

It is much like the NDIS mapping site, but will have some added data and features they do not offer.

These include color satellite photos (NAIP), contour lines for B&W Satellite Photos (Much like USAPhotoMaps), hill shade, and Goat and Sheep unit boundaries.

It will also offer the ability to integrate your free GIS mapping application (Google Earth, World Wind, ArcGIS Explorer, Etc.) via WMS Server.

The site is not intended to replace maps you purchase to take on your hunting trip (Buy those via the MyTopo link on various hunting sites), but to provide a down and dirty quick way to map scout your area without spending a fortune on maps you may never use again.

The new site is called GMUHuntingmaps.com and can be accessed at http://www.gmuhuntingmaps.com

The site is free right now, but I'll need to start charging a fee after the beginning of the year to cover cost of a dedicated server and GIS map data. The annual fee is going to be very low, just $9.95.

Please visit the site and provide your feedback via a PM. Those of you desiring to use the site with their GIS applications can also send me a PM.
