New Mexico Elk Apps

I applied online for New Mexico elk tonight and I was only charged $27.00. I had heard that they were going to charge the whole license fee with applications this year. Can anyone verify the info either way> Thanks.

I apply every year I understood full price too. Not gonna put in until last minute. If you call em they're really good about anserwing any questions you have. Sorry I'm no help on your question.

I game them a call this morning. They charge the application fee now, and then approximately 3 days after the application deadline, they will charge the whole license fee. They do this so that you can make changes to your application without any issues.

Did they say how long it takes to get the money back if you don,t draw?

They didn't say, but I can't imagine it would be too bad, especially if you use a credit card. I got my refund back from Wyoming already.
