welcome to the site

as far a scents go, i think if ya have something to cover your scent will help, but always stay downwind, no matter what!

treestands have there place and time(ie over water, trails etc)

as far as calling them in, some say it can be done during the rut, some say it doesnt work

Usually they are still on summer range during early bow season so any scouting you do this summer will pay off. They are red colored and stand out well on the greenery so you can locate them pretty easily with a spotting scope. We'll scout during the 4th of July then hunt in late August and they'll still be there in the high country. Water is imporatant too. Mulies need to water at least every other day and prefer little seeps to drink at, but will go to ponds too. If any mushrooms are poking their way up through the soil they will be on them for sure. It's a prefered food and grow under the ponderosa pines. Good luck.
