Newbie question/Help

Hey guys,
I just spent the last 3 days out in 20a (west area off of Kirkland Jtcn) and didnt see a single deer. :>/ I spoke to a couple groups that were saying basically everyone in their group tagged out. What am I missing. I glassed all days non stop but obviously not looking for the right things. I saw lot of deer sign but seemed to be old. What type of items do you guys focus on when glassing? Im going back out Thurs- Sun so ANY help would be appreciated. :not-worthy

If it's open/grassy country I usually try to focus towards the top of the grass. Try and pick out the horizontal curve of ears going against the vertical grain of the grass. The odd angles of antlers vs. the straight grass. If there is space below tree branches look for "sapplings that move", it'll be legs. Now I'm not an expert nor do I know the terrain you're in but those are some general tips that helped me when I was getting started.
