NM 05 hunting rules

Have any of you seen the new 05 deer regulations for NM, if you have do you think they are fair. Because they are all draw, except for private land hunts. Not all of us have land.

well NM hntr I hate to admitt it but I think NMDGF is finally headed in the right direction. It is to bad it took this long for something to happen. Im sure that you know NM deer herds have been in trouble for a long time. If you really want to draw a permit there are units with alot of permits to be drawn.(unit 15 for example) however most people know 15 has a small amount of deer just like most otc hunts in the past. So not a whole lot has changed. Give it a few years and mabey things will be better. NMGFD is promising to have 100 wardens this year to catch poachers which should help but dont hold your breath
