No hunting this year

Well, just found out today that I'll be spending hunting season over there. Actually, I'll be spending the next year over there. Deploy in May. Gotta love these short fused requirements. Not sure if I'll be able to get on the net but I'll be checking in if I do. Good luck to everyone in the coming season. Maybe next year.

I'll be over in the sandbox somewhere, don't know the exact place or even country. Won't find out until I'm actually there. Appreciate all the comments. Quick question: If I draw my tags, does anyone know of a program in Colorado in which I can either designate or donate the tags for someone else to use? Guess I should've checked with DOW first and ask later.

I would be proud to take those donated tags if it comes to that. :))
But really stay as safe as possible and thanks.

UPDATE: I'm back and didn't end up going afterall. Seems the mission changed and they didn't need all the folks they had gathered up so I'll be able to hunt this year after all. Did spend 4 months training in the desert and lost about 20 lbs doing it. Told my brother I'd make it hunting and the first thing he said was "Good, we need you to drag the meat out of the woods." So nice to be appreciated!
