Beware of Brain-Eating Amoeba... no joke! we had this announcement at our school today!
6 people have died this year.. the latest was a 14 yr old boy from Arizonia, whom got the virus (Naegleria fowleri) from swimming in Lake Havasu...http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,298338,00.html

scary. not very common though. I think I'll take my chances. Can't think of a much better way to go anyway than brain eating amoeba!

(**!!) maybe I should have rephrased my words.. be careful while swimming in warm water lakes!! :-k watch for any symptoms after swimming in one!

We've had at least 2 deaths deom that this year here in Az. Supposedly the little sucker crawls up your nose when you go under water, then takes a hike right up to your brain.... (???)
