NV Bull

Just returned from an elk hunt in the NV high country. My 15 yr old son, Derek, drew the tag this year.
He connected on a good bull on the 5th day. He wasn't the biggest bull we saw, but he was the biggest bull we saw at 20 yards! He's a decent 5X5, or if you want to count the little crab claw it can technically be a 6X5.
Here's a shot of the arrow entry. It punched through a rib going in and stopped in a rib on the opposite side.

The bull went less than 40 yards and laid down in sight of us after I bugled to stop him.

I'll post a little more info tomorrow in the archery forum. All in all it was an excellent hunt.
