I drew the archery tag on that unit and was just wondering what to expect? I have hunted chukars down there but never been looking for deer. Is a 180 ish buck realistic with some work?

You have a chance of finding a buck like that (or bigger), but killing him with a bow is a different story. That is a nasty mountain to hunt with a bow. There is a reason why the success rate is so low. Good luck and have a fun hunt. Don't pass an older, mature buck within bow range.

Thats what I have heard it is a pretty tough hunt, I hunted the Dutton so I dont know if it could get worse than that!
