Old bone

I found many sheds while I hunted MT this Fall.

This one is interesting. Very massive, leaves a lot to the imagination.

Ya that is a massive antler. To bad you couldnt of found it 2-3 years ago!

The only thing that was sticking out of the gumbo was the white you see on the base. I think erosion exposed that. I'm thinking this shed is very very old. Like, I've come across buffulo bones and other bones sticking out the side of a wash in the badlands a thousand feet or more below the prairie. This is part of why I love hunting the badlands.

These are bones recently exposed in a wash hundreds of feet below the prairie. Mammal? I brought out only 1 shed the rest of the stuff I left where I found it.
