I love looking at the good ol days.. Some of those pictures are fantastic!
I wish I go could go back in time to that era.
my father has a early 1900's model T ford.. I can only imagine how many deer that thing has hauled off the mountain!
They dont make them like they used to for sure

That is a very nice collection. Gotta love the good ol' days.

I like the one with the lion too.

They've got to be photoshopped! I mean, come on. How can these guys and gals bag those monsters with no scent-lok clothing, no pimped out rifles with unbelieveable scopes or ballistic charts, no range finders, no GPS systems, and not a single ATV?!?!?!

Of course, I am just kidding. I've seen these photos before and simply LOVE THEM! Thanks for posting these up NONYA.

AGCHAWK - You are hilarious! I always get a kick reading your posts lol

Maybe thats what were doing all wrong... Im starting to think all the high tech hunting stuff is a waste of time and money.. Everytime I go out in the expensive "scent free" camo and spent hours planning the hunt I dont see a dang critter. Then I happen to go out in cruel girl jeans, a pink hoodie, my lucky red high top cowboy boots, a half bottle of hair spray in my hair , wearing smelly stuff and a few extra bullets in my pocket all the critters tend to come out of the woodwork.. Maybe to take a good laugh?? Im not sure but its workin for me lol

Amazing to listen to stories from my grandpa and his hunting days.. He said there would be bucks with so many "points" that you couldnt count.. But they passed them up for young bucks because they taste better...
He always tell me " you cant eat the horns" :)
And all the lions/bears he has hunted 50 years ago and never did keep any.

](*,) Oh how I would love to go back to the good ol days..

Antlers- my grandma used to tell me the same thing about deer hunting. Back then it was all about putting food on the table. She was the hunter of the family. She'd see big bucks and pass on them because the smaller bucks made for a better meal. Man I wish we had some pictures of her back in the day. I love seeing these old photos and seeing just how many deer there used to be. She loved to hunt even if it was just for rabbits. She was right handed but shot left handed because she was always in the passenger seat of the car on rabbit hunts and thats how she had to shoot (back when you could shoot from a car and nobody cared).
