One fine day in KS
6x6 bull
4/7/11 3:19pm
I woke up at 1in the morning and drove to KS. At 4:30 I had my blind set up with the decoys out. Finally the morning started to wake up and the gobbling began. Most of the gobblers where across the road but there was one on my side. At 7:30 with lots of calling he deceided that he would come and look at my decoys strutting in all the way.

At 2 I loaded up and went back to where all the birds where in the morning. At 3 a group of 5 longbeards a couple of jakes and about 4 hens came out into the field. The dominate bird saw my strutter and he came running in from about three hundred yards. Shot number 2 and gobbler number two down.
