My son Zach recently graduated high school with honors. He maintained a 4.0 gpa for all 12 years of school and has accumilated 18 college hours while doing so. He recently committed to play basketball at Arkansas Tech University and will be playing on their freshmen JV squad while they put a little meat on him. He is a 6'-6" and 205 lb small forward. He is the career leader at his school for 3 pts made (158), 3pts percentage (42%), rebounds (506), and blocked shots (108). My dad and uncle were minor league pitchers and I thought that he might take up baseball at some point, but he never showed any interest. He was approached by one college as a receiver prospect because he showed so much promise the only year he played football, which was his senior year, but basketball is his bag. Of all of his accomplishments I must say that I am most proud of his character. He is just plainly speaking a great kid that has never been any trouble for his mother or I. Thanks for allowing me to brag a little bit on my boy on this here forum. I know that all of you are proud of your kids and I rejoice with you in their accomplishments also!

Any pics of him in action on the court? 4.0 is tough to maintain also, impressive.
with so much negativity you hear in todays kids, i really enjoyed reading about your kid. sounds like he has his head on right, and quit frankly that all starts with their up-bringing.
so pat yourself on the back, and i'll throw in a "dang good job , dad" for doing your part in raising your boy right! :thumb
AGREED! +100
Congrats on everything your son has accomplished and I'm sure he has a lot more to him in the future!
