Opening weekend.

Well not gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed by opening weekend. I get five miles back into a area only to find 4 other hunters and 0 animals. I'm hoping here in a week or so the hunting will get better so i can actually find something on hoof. I do know that there were elk in the area I was hunting though... at least I got part of a elk :)

I know how you feel. I had 100s of elk pics on the game cam and couldn't find one to save my soul opening day. And we didn't see any hunters where we went. Then today I got back from that same area after spending the last two days there and only got some dirty looks from some does. lol Story of my life! ](*,)

big buck where were you???

i was over on the uintah canyon side of elkhorn loop and all the elk disappeared after the first couple of days! buddy over on the range study said same thing happened to him! Got some friends up in the mtns that said they found a bunch so im going after them this weekend!

I've been saying for years that all the BLM's DRW's and all them other goverment agencies have been infiltrated for a long time now. It's gotta be a conspericy. I blame them treehuggers and Bush. They (the critters) have an information highway second to none. I wouldn't be supprized if if they weren't monerating this web site, asking where we are going, what we're wearing things like that. Openen days has been a bust for me the last five years. Coarse I've been sittin at home out of frustration cause I come up empty handed on openen days the three years before them last five years. But don't give up. Persistance does pay off even if it is later in the season.

ANd its about that time everybody waits for. Them elk are gonna start chasin some tail around and echoing throught the canyons.

hey! they started bugling over on my side of the uintahs sunday/mondayish, still didnt get mine.... ](*,) only a few lil bulls but now its make or break if it has even one horn its getting shot this weekend..... lol
