Out of state hunts

A buddy of mine and I just put in for Wyoming Mule Deer. This is my first time applying to hunt out of state. I think I will be applying to Colorado for the preference point and buying a Utah preference point also. It got me curious... how many of you are applying for out of state Muley Buck tags and what states to you hope to draw in 2010?

I am appling for Elk and mule deer in MT for this year. and buying a pref. point for mule deer in CO.

I'm working on points in Colorado this year. That is the only out of state hunt I am working on for Mule Deer.

AZ, CO, UT, WY, OR, NV, & NM

I wait until about the last day to apply. Always go West to hunt Mulies. WY deer and Montana Big Game Combo. For some reason I've been extremely luck in the draws. :thumb

I am mule deer hunting in Alberta this year. I will also hunt here at home in Wyoming. I also hope to go to Colorado, but I'll either bow hunt or try to find a decent landowner permit. (Burnt my points last year.) I will apply for Utah, Navada and maybe Idaho. Some day, I'll draw one or two fo those licenses and I wil have to quit my job to do all of the hunting.

I've got 10 Points Utah Elk, 3 points Wyoming deer and 1 point Montana gen deer.

I apply for mule deer and elk in AZ, CO, WY, & NM along with antelope in AZ, and WY. It's alot of work but nessessary to get some good quality hunts down the road.

Have 5 points for Oregon elk and should draw this year, have 7 points for Oregon mulies and should draw next year, have 8 points for Desert, California, Rocky Mountains, and Mountain Goat in Nevada and 7 points for elk in NV, 1 point for mulies in NV. Unfortunatly Nevada's draw system is so screwed up that the points dont seem to do a person much good so it's a crap shoot here. I also apply for New Mexico and Utah. So with any luck maybe I will draw one of those sheep tags [-o<

Hey check out the raffle hunt in Oregon for Trophy Mules. Guaranteed Land Owner Permit for a 33,000 acre preserve. If you win the raffle you do not lose your points for Oregon. You will know your result on the raffle by april 7th before the deadline to put in for Oregon controlled hunts. Your odds are pretty good with only a max of 99 tickets being sold.

I'll apply for Deer in CO along with mt goat and sheep and points for elk(6). I'll also apply for sheep and mt goat in MT.

I hope am going to use my Elk points for a Colorado muzzle loader hunt this year. I also have points for deer in Colorado and Also have points in Iowa for some of those monster corn fed Whitetails.
