over 350 elk pictures!

I put out a trail camera about 6 weeks ago over a huge wallow. The elk really love this spot. Had over 350 pictures of elk (plus a few of some deer, one moose and some of nothing). Unfortunately, some were blurry because a spider built a web over the lens!

The rest of the story...

I hunted the wallow opening day and saw nothing. The next day I hunted another spot in the AM and came back to the wallow. This was on the camera, from one hour earlier:

In the picture below, he is sticking his tongue out. Taunting me?

I hunted the wallow several times after that and had some bulls go by at 70+ yards but never got a shot.

Next year...
