hey could someone tell me what that thing is,with no tail, right after the buffalo pic that looks like a cross between a fox and a badger?

It's a grey fox without a tail. It hangs out at my dads place in MD.

Ahh yes, Yellwstone and the Tetons. My wife and I called the buffalo slow-ages on the road "buffalo Jams". As opposed to a traffic jam it is ok to sit there and watch them as long as you do not make them mad or act like a jerk, and there are plenty or jerks that think a 2000 pound buffalo is a domestic housepet to be touched, umm no.

Yep, Bison jams are a pretty common occurence these days. And they really do bring out the idiot in people. More people, in fact far more people are hurt by bison and moose than bears. I guess you can't blame people for their own ignorance.

My folks are up there right now doing some sightseeing. My dad has nevers een the park before. He has his camcorder with him and he called the other day. he said he got a grizzly chasing and eating an elk calf on film! He'll be back down in colorado ina week or, I'll have to see if I can get it on this site.
