We saw no deer and heard no elk. It's been awful warm and I think maybe the archers have them stirred up some. Theres plenty of sign around though so the whole area is worth glassing when the season comes in in two weeks. I'd like to camp out on the high point Friday night before the season opens on Saturday, but there is a birthday party for my wife the night before so that won't be possible.

It'll be good to be out with a rifle in hand no matter what, deer are just extra.
