Please Help With Hunting Survey

Howdy,

My company has been working on an exciting new hunting product (with Mule Deer in it) and we would like to gather some consumer marketing information. I've started posting this link in a few of the bigger hunting forums but have been surprised at how few people are willing to take a survey.

The survey is very short and it would really help us out a lot to have a bunch of the members of this forum take the survey.

We have a very short 33 question survey at the link below.

Please take the survey yourself and if you find it non-objectionable please pass this link along to any gun-owner or hunter you may know. If you belong to a SPortsman's club or gun club please share it with them.

I'll tell you why very few are willing to take your survey. It isn't all that short. And it doesn't really relate to hunting that much. You should just tell the users it's a hunting game survey. Then those that want to will take it. I took it, just to know before giving my view.

It's to long, to boring, and leaves one wondering what the heck they just took? This is your problem in my opinion. I'm not sure this crowd is what your looking for. Join the forums if your interested in Mule Deer etc., gain some trust of the members and you might see more interest.

Somehow I'm not sure this is what your looking for though. Good luck.

Your both dead-on BOHNTR/MULEYMADNESS! I took a couple minutes out of my time to check out the survey and not only was it NOT a short survey, it was about VIDEO GAME HUNTING!!!! This sight is supposed to be about the real thing. He needs to peddle is survey. elsewhere.

Yeah, I agree.

Besides, my GPS and two-way radios use up all my AA batteries. Don't have any left for my Gameboy.

we didn't want to bias who took the survey. We didn't want only hunter who play hunting games to respond. We still don't. We want any and all hunters.

About 30 to 40% of hunters with PCs play hunting games. Our game will have Mule Deer in it and we have had several good emails from people who say they will lend they expertise to make sure we do it right.

As to boring... well i've never taken a survey that wasn't boring. Not much I could do about that point i suppose.

So far we've had about 800 hunters respond and our goal is about 500 more.

If any of you haven't taken the survey or could pass along my link, i would areally ppreciate it.
