Here are a couple for you Cody.

The first Bull is a friend that went down the opener of the rifle hunt on the Oak Creek unit ( the first year it was OTC)

The one that Utahbowhunter posted is the P&Y NT world record, 442.0. Here's a field photo of it.

This bull was killed by Clay Heuett the same year that Nick Franklin took his WR Non-Typical. Clay's bull scored 422 6/8. It too exceeded the world record at that time (420 5/8), and WOULD have been the world record if Nick hadn't taken his the same year.... That would SUCK!

Here is one of my favorites, although it doesn't score as high as the other two bulls. This one was taken by a guy that has just turned out to be a natural at bowhunting. Andy's first two years with a bow, he took about 6 different species with his stick bow and most of them pretty nice trophies! In Arizona that is quite a feat, considering the difficulty of getting drawn. Here is his first elk, I believe, taken in 2004. As I recall, I believe he even killed a bear off the gut pile of this bull!

This was the P&Y World Record before the two bulls above were taken. It had apparently stood for over 20 years, just to have TWO bulls beat it in the same year!

Here's another cool bull, although I don't know much about him...

I also posted a few wild non-typical bull photos on the trail cam photo forum, under the weird bull thread. One of them was a photo I took last year, before the season, with double main beams on one side. I haven't been up yet to see if he lived through the hunts.

Hope you enjoyed the photo essay!

CVRN...AWESOME BULLS!

Stickflicker, those first three bulls are some AWESOME bulls too (Of course they are...two of them beat the old world record...LOL)!!! I LOVE that palmated one too...very unique!

I can help ya out on that last pic though (The small photo). It is a high fenced bull taken by a fella named Kevin Ried. He took two bulls off of the same high fenced ranch in Idaho (2004 and 2005) that scored 447 and 502 2/8 SCI respectfully. They were not fair chase animals and therefore not eligible for P&Y or B&C (Of course, I don't need to tell YOU that...LOL).

I don't want to start another thread about how much most of us dislike high fenced hunts (We've done that before....in response to pictures of this guy's other bull). I just wanted to pass on the info.

Thanks AG,

I was aware of his 500+ bull last year, but I didn't know this was the same guy. I appreciate the info!
