Poaching Mess

I cant stand poachers, I live in the desert unit of washington state and we have a good size herd here with quite a few wall hangers, and I have come across a poached deer more than once while walking to and from duck blinds. The last one I found was no more than 75 yards from the road and all they did was saw off the velvet covered bone. I wish there were funds to have more game wardens then perhaps more could be done.

My personal opinion is that the Book Cliffs has a significant poaching problem. I think this article mentioned 82 found cases...that is mind boggling and makes me wonder how many remain undiscovered.
