Well I know tags haven't been issued yet, but with the number of points I have, I expect to get my 10 yr tag in NW CO for 3rd season. If not, I'll learn early. I am going up this weekend to start checking out the area and just wanted to say thanks for all who are taking the time to help. Looks like the deer numbers are up....YAHOOOOOO!!!!

Good luck in the draw and on the hunt. There are some great areas there and I hope to see some pics of you and a monster this fall.

Wow, lots of great country out that way. I rode 140 on the atv just getting familiar with all the roads and it was muddy. Took lots of pictures to remember what all the canyons looked like, but only saw a few deer. Definately a winter area. Lots of elk sign too. I'll definately get in there a few days before the season to do some locating. Unfortunately I didn't see or hear a single coyote to shoot, maybe a good thing??? If your interested in seeing some of the landscape PM me your email and I'll be happy to send some to you on a shutterfly link.
