Here's another one of our honey holes that we like to fish. Pyramid Lake on the Paiute Indian Reservation in Nixon, NV. Home of the Lahonton Cutthroat Trout.
I'm about as close to that geyser as I'm allowed to be without the Indian rangers writing me a ticket. That's sacred Paiute ground. It was at one time open to the public but it was abused by the few so the elders shut it down to all non-tribal members.
That's a nice male fish that my son is holding. A quick pic and back in the water he went.

Heres a pic of a nice hen that my dad caught 2 weeks ago. That's my son holding it. I don't know if you can tell by the pic, but those waves are 2' to 3' rollers. By 9:30 that morning they were 3' to 4' and we were done for the day.
