When I can get my hands on some I tend to fry them up in a skillet with butter and seasoning. Might make a jambalaya with some next time though.

One that I like is to bake them with shake and bake in the oven. The recipe is right on the box. :)

here are a couple

first you need about 4 to 6 young cottontails.quarter and clean well.preheat oven to 375.
put bunny in a glass cake pan with 1 1/2 sticks butter and season how you like.
after baking for 10 minutes smother with vegies and cover with foil or can leave open.
bke for about 30 to 45 minutes however you like your meat, but do not over bake as meat will dry out.after 15 minutes add 1 cup water to keep moist.when done serve up hot with butter bread or garlic bread .
ENJOY.

5-7 wild rabbit pieces(legs, thighs, etc)

1/2 cup vinegar

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup barbeque sauce (your favorite)

1/4 cup onions chopped, or sliced

In a roasting pan put all rabbit peices on bottom. Heat oven to 350 deg.

Mix all other ingrediants in a large mixing bowl.

Pour into roasting pan over rabbit evenly.

Add veggies such as carrots, potatoes, etc if desired.

Cook in oven til rabbit pulls off bones approx. 1.5 to 2 hours...

serve and enjoy. great recipe for deer camp, just use ribs instead of rabbit.

hope this helps you.
