Remington 870

I have a Browning BPS , but decided to also get a Remington 870 after cleaning my son's . This is the fourth one i have owned . I will keep this one !! I love my BPS but love the simplicity of the 870 and how easy it is to disassemble and re- assemble . It took me around 40 sec and i was still fumbling around a little .

The trigger drops out east too. That was the first gun I bought for myself when I turned 18. They are a work horse and awful hard to beat.

 When i took my sons apart , i also removed the trigger assembly and washed everything out in very hot water Let it dry , oiled it with Rem oil , and it was as clean as new . I could not believe the crap that was in his gun , but it still worked flawless . I like camo on my guns so i ordered a camo stock in the wetlands pattern . I think it's going to look very cool . It will be something to play around with during the LONGGGGGGGGGGG spell before next waterfowl season .

I grew up shooting Remington's so now I own two 870's. I have a a nice 870 Wingmaster for pheasants, chuckar, huns, etc., and another 870 express magnum for turkeys, etc. I can't wait until my boys are old enough and I will get them a 20 guage. I know there are other great shotguns on the market but I am partial to Remington's for some reason..... :))

 Very slow , we saw way less birds come into Cache Valley . This is only our second year for hunting waterfowl , so we are still learning. My son Cody and i shot our first geese , he shot 4 and i shot 2 .
We got our first G.W. Teals , Drake Mallards , Wigeons. I think i only shot around 20 ducks and two geese total . My son hunted way more than i did , and i think he may have taken 30+ ducks . It was still fun , but i dream of the day when i actually get a limit . :thumb I hope to get a bigger boat , so i can take my Lab pup with me next year . Just not enough room in my Kayak for everything.

good choice on the reminton 870 . i have one also . hunt with my browning A5s now since my remington 870 is a 16 gauge .

Yeah I've only had a few days that we shot a limit. For me it's watching them cup their wings and just come floating in like they are dropping in on a sting. I can't think of anything better than that while duck hunting.
