Reno Waterfowl?

Does anyone here hunt ducks and geese near Reno? All of my friends go to Cal. or Id. but none here? Is this just because there is nowhere to hunt or the hunting just sucks? Im a little tired of driving for hours at 3a.m. to set up a spread. Are there any places near here that have good duck hunting?

sure there are, we do fairly well....but its more like big game because it requires alot of scouting, greenhead, stillwater, and sometimes washoe are good places to try. Its tough when it freezes the.s early though

Wow, I might have to try there. Im planning on going down to Stillwater when I get my new shotgun.
