What part of central utah did you take that bear in. He looks similar to the chocolate bears that I used to see in Monticello, Utah.

I hunted the manti, had several bears hit the bait that i had going , has to be the greatest hunt that i know of. I would like to go to Idaho this spring and hunt again.

I have hunted there many times, and have never seen a bear there. My dad has seen several, but none of that caliber. If you ever get the chance again Monticello has some huge bruins up on blue mountain. Especially if the we have a dry year. Best of luck and if you go to Idaho you should do very well. Thats the only state that I have ever hunted bears in.
