Rules to other link/websites.

Generally speaking YES it IS against forum rules to post links to other websites...however sometimes I feel it's okay and the intent is good and not self-promoting so it doesn't bother me as much or I'm okay with it.

If a users 1st post to the forums is to another website, then this is pretty obvious of the intent and should be deleted.

If he/she is a regular user and intent is to share something useful and cool then not as concerned.

However, again I would like to be informed of intent or have user ask permission first. From myself or MODS.

In case of TINES UP website, no permission was asked or given. I feel like ultimateshedfreak may have something to do with the site himself (not sure).

I know one of the main guys brothers who does the website and am not sure they are the sharing type?

I'll PM ultimateshedfreak and take care of this one, so leave it for now. I may delete it?

AS YOU CAN SEE IT WORKED JUST FINE THIS TIME.

THANKS FOR THE CLARIFICATION.

I LIKE THE IDEA OF A FORUM WHERE ONLY THE MODS CAN HAVE ACCESS AND ASK QUESTIONS LIKE THIS......

Thanks Brett....I love the forum for us. I take it you got my PM regarding my response to that original thread? Thought you were upset and blowing me off. :) Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same sheet of music. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks BOHNTR, certainly not blowing you off. Although ALL kinds of people probably think so as I'm having trouble staying on top of everything. :-k

So this forum should be good and help keep on top of any questions/issues/concerns.

Thanks guys! :thumb

Wow neato how long has this been here. Heres a nothing issue. Sometimes while im reading in a forum that im not a mod in and this is just once in a while, i find some vulgar language but i cant edit it so i usually just pm the member who posted it to edit it. Is there anyway that i can edit it or not?

MuleyMadness
BB,

Hasn't been here long at all, no way for you to edit them unless you were MOD of that forum or MOD of all of them.

BB, as a rule and from what I see in the cyber world the moderaters on MuleyMadness do a good job and stay pretty much on top of it. We can't be on here 24/7 but very few things slip through.

Brett is there anyway we could get a "report button" or a way to instantly report a bad post to the moderators of that specific thread?

I like that idea, if it can be done Brett. A "Report" button that would alert the mod or you of a post. Even better would be if that button was only accessible to you and moderators. I think if every one and there dogs had access it would just create problems. IMO.

ya the report button sounds like a good idea

This current forum or version doesn't allow or have that option.

We are working on a new version/upgrade that will have that option.

You will ALL know when it's done. :)

Sounds like some good ideas. If there is anything that any of us can do to help out just let us know. I know that I'm speaking for everybody but I think that all would agree.
