RUTTIN' & STRUTTIN'!

Hey guys and gals. Been out hunting off and on and I've got a few stories and pictures to share with ya'll. I'm gonna start with my latest outing which was hunting with my buddy in the area of Montello, Nevada during the late archery season. My first couple of pictures is of a 3x4 my buddy had turned down earlier in his hunt but hunted him hard in the last several days of his hunt. On our last morning this buck was chasing a doe 65 yards off of the 2-track road and we had a 5 minute staredown while my buddy got off of his 4-wheeler, got his bow, loaded it up, walked off the 2-track road about 20 feet in order to get a shot at his vitals, and started to draw back when the buck took off. I got a great view and could see that he was definitely 2-3 inches past his ears giving him an estimated spread of 27-28 inches. A nice buck indeed.

This next buck was surrounded by does and lesser bucks and when my buddy tried a stalk he was easily busted. He is narrow but is still a nice specimen.
