S E New Mexico drought

Here in SE New Mexico we are going through a sever drought. The question I have is, will a buck travel from poor feeding area to another with better feed? I know the ranchers are suplimenting around the watering holes so......... If they do move on, how far are they willing to go? The "dry line" starts about 10 miles west of the "Caprock". From there east, it is rumored to be relativly green. (as green as the desert will allow anyway) (How do you know it's a drought in a desert?)

Just what will a buck do during a drought?
