Score this buck

Okay, so here is a deer my dad shot around the Moab area of Utah back in the 60's. He's never had it officially scored. I tried to convince him to get it mounted, but since he found out he has cancer he probably wont have the money to get it done for a while, if ever. He was lucky enough to shoot this deer and one almost identical to it just a few years apart. Let me know what you think it scores. I'll post a pic of it next to my 176 7/8" rack for reference. He measured it himself a long time ago and came up with 186 i believe, however I think it scores higher than that, but could be wrong. It just looks BIG compared to mine.....
It does have an extra point on the right side about an inch long and also a "burr" on the left side that you cant see because it's on the back of the antler base.

Pretty tough to tell from that angle and only one picture.

I'm trying to give myself some ERROR room. :)

I'd say 187"

Both of those are great buck. I came up with 183" gross. I could be low because when I estimated your buck I could only come up with 173" gross and you already said it scored 176 7/8".

Put a tape on it and let us know what you come up with.

Tine length is going to help the score more than anything. I would still take a heavy 180" 4 point over a 190" 4 point that has only 15” of mass on each antler.

Id put him at 185 give or take an inch. Regardless of score that is one pretty buck. Great mass and symetre all the way around.
