Scouting Pics!

I want to see some scouting pics, come on now I know some of you have been out and about and are holding out pics on us. :)

I've had a good couple of weeks and had some AWESOME fun!

I'll start out with one from this last week...(pulled from video so quality is low)

Those are great. I was in SW Colorado last week and had hopes of capturing some good animals. It was so hot that nothing of any size was moving until after dark or low enough light to get any good shots.

That is strange, because it was kinda the opposite for me. Because of the drought, heat, and lack of water they were out earlier and moving more to get water. So I had good success.[/b]

I finally got out friday night and saturday morning and found a nice prospect for this fall. Saw (9) 3 point or better bucks. This was in the northern region. Sorry, no pics.

Guess I better add another one, since this is a pretty slow thread. :)

Nice pics fellas! Looks like you guys have been having some fun.

Roy,

I just read your article in the July/August MDF issue. It was great to hear the story to go along with the pictures. I'm looking forward to reading another story and seeing some more pics from this fall. :thumb

Guess I better ad another one eh!

I know it's kinda tough to see this one, but he is a SLUG. Not sure on his width, but this is a GREAT looking typcial buck. Good forks, awesome height, and I believe his left side was going to be a straight 6(?) typical with a straight 4 on the right. I was thrilled to see him, only got 1 1/2 seconds of video as he walked between these 2 trees.

Another...

When I first saw this guy I was like "dang" BIG BUCK! Good mass, width, and still room to grow.

Would you believe he is just a straight 3 point. But a cool one at that.

MuleyMadness
How about another...

And another...

Couple of 4 points. Might go after these with my bow, wish me luck!

Couple nice bucks. Which one would you take?

The one on the right looks like he has deeper forks so I would shoot him.

I would be happy with any of them. :thumb

Brett,

I wish you all the luck in the world to get one of those bucks. :arrow

Here is a buck that I saw tonight. I know that the pic doesn't do him any justice. I took the pic through my Vortex Skyline ED Spotting Scope. It was right before dark and he was a long, long, long ways away. I zoomed the pic in on the computer when I got home, this is the best I could do, tonight.

yet another...

The 2nd or 3rd COOLEST buck I've seen all summer. He would be #1 on the list, but I've had a GREAT summer so far. No clue why I put him number 3, actually I do but you GUYS don't YET! :-k :))
38
MuleyMadness
and my last one...

both great 4-points but the one on the left is BIG, TALL, DEEP FORKS, MASS, etc. :)

Nice bucks for sure.

But now for the $10,000 question. (???)

Can you hunt these latest bucks that you have pictures of? :-k

Only 1 group of bucks or pictures can I hunt, which I likely will if they stick around. I can hunt the others in my dreams and with my cameras all summer long. Which I prefer to be quite honest.

a_bow_nut
Hunting is hunting as far as I'm concerned. The best part about using a camera is that you can shoot them over and over and the hunt never ends. One day I hope to have the time to chase these animals with a camera to.
