Okay, I'll admit I've been holding out on this one for a while, unsure how bad and how much I wanted to share...knowing I'd share him just not sure when. :)
So here goes...I've watched this buck grow all summer and knew he was going to be SPECIAL after this trail cam picture...
more later...
and hopefully the pics will get better and better, until the actual harvest pictures. No I'm not the lucky one. But someone is. :thumb
I've got several pics from trail cam, still pictures, and finally the harvested pics.
Hope you enjoy the ride...

Will you just email me when the whole story is posted up please?
I don't think that I can take the suspence of waiting and waiting for the next piece of the story to post. J/K
Can't wait to see how this story turns out.

I LOVE these stories but I have absolutely NO PATIENCE!!!

:))
Well I could just drive down there so that you can just show me and let everybody else wait for the rest of the story. :-$
:)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :thumb
besides, your drive would be one heck of a lot shorter than my drive!
I'll go find out what the whole story is then I'll meet you half way and tell it to you. I'm sure after all of that driving that I'll remember the story word for word and won't mess it up any. :-k

I've seen your photoshop work first hand so I think that you could keep the material flowing all winter long. :not-worthy
So you guys got this buck?
Do you know if "Black Magic" has made it another year?
NOPE NOT US.
There is a story to him, unfortunately I don't know for sure but I'm afraid it's not a good one. Don't think anyone got him, but he was wounded and I FEAR now dead. Not sure though??
Okay back to business...couple more trail cam pics of he "BIG BOY"
Man I'm picky. :-k
was Black Magic wounded on the archery?

I spent several outings trying to get photos of him, (very tough to do) I finally had some LUCK on my side and was able to get some shots of him from about 75 yards.
Here is the 1st one, he looks more impressive with the sun shining. :)
Okay my friend, this ones for you!
I'll say there is!! This guys a beast! Beautiful animal, this is what mule deer are all about - look at the way that big ole boy graces himself!
MORE!!!
MORE!!!
MORE!!!
WOW what a buck, I'm not saying that to brag. I'm not the one who got him, but this is probably the BEST still shot I've ever taken of a MONSTER BUCK! Been a lot of work. :)
That's an absolutely amazing picture!! I think that quote better applies to this picture, THIS is why muleys are my top priority whenever i have a chance to be in the field. That pic captures what these marvelous creatures are all about and why so many people take aww to them over any other wild animal. beautiful pic brett, congrats!! I imagine you had quite a time getting this picture, but i'd say that work payed itself off quite well, wouldnt you? fantastic! again, thanks!
Thanks bud, I felt very fortunate to get this picture and was WAY excited.

ya he was a pig and only three of us got to see it.haha :))
And I watched him for a long time...
Enjoy and I hope to have the hunters story and other photos in the near future.
=D>
Made it through another great story.
Just got back from the hospital. I was getting my tounge stiched back together. It was draging on the floor when the chair rolled over it when I went to get up from the desk. I don't know what hurt worse the running over of the stiching up. :)
Great deer hope to hear the story some day.
Brett,
Do you know if it was taken on the archery season?
:)) You're a great guy and hillarious. Glad to have you around.
I do actually know the whole story, but want the hunter to tell it in his words not mine. :)
Yes it was ARCHERY
What a great looking deer! It must be pretty cool to watch something "grow up" like that, all the way until when it was harvested. That is for sure something most hunters will never get a chance to do.
