Shoot... or not to shoot

This Bull comes in pretty regular, I am not sure if I should take him or not early in the year.(If the opportunity is there.)

public ground, not a premium tag, i'd say shoot him!! alot of people go home with a lot smaller!! but it would also depend on what else your seeing

He's not the biggest bull in the woods but he's no raghorn either. I guess it would boil down to a personal choice...Do ya want to let him walk and take a chance that you'll go home empty handed? If you're OK with that then let him walk on by and hope that a bigger one presents himself.

Well being from the raghorn capital of the planet, He's a shooter. :arrow You fellows in Utah have some big bulls but like you said "public land" non LE, I would take him in a minute.......unless I've seen larger bulls in the area that I could get a crack at. Let us know how you do.

Don't shoot him. Let him walk. He has two weeks to cross the state line then I will stick him and post of pic for you to see how he looks with me standing next to him.

Cant shoot a big one if you keep shooting the little ones, but if you need the meat or have to kill something to have a successful season, then sure, hes a respectful publicland bull no dought, but that bull moose is awesome. I had to look and see where you were from to see if he was a shiras or canadian. Thanks for the pics later.

slam him!!! nothing wrong with that bull on public ground imo. that is, unless you you want to "extend" your hunt!!!!

I'd be thrilled to take him. Of course I am still working on getting my first bull. Good luck either way.

Shoot him... Anyplace would be good. Too much is put onto Antler size.... There are so many variables when it comes to archery hunting.... I'd take him if he presented the shot.... Then again... I'm not hung up on antler size. I guess that's why I hunt cows... They make great jerky!
