Any opinions on shooting sticks or bipods for speed goats? If a bipod, do I get the 9-13 inch models, or the ones that go higher? Which do you like best?

I have hunted areas that had a lot of tall sagebrush and other areas where it is low or very sparse. What I found was with the bipods I was using I never had a good height. just my .02

Two years ago I had some in my elbow and around christmass they were still there. They ended up penetrating that sack that protects your elbow and caused an infection. My elbow blew up to the size of a softball and had to go in and have antibiotic shot. They hit it so hard it killed off even my good bacteria and you do not want that to happen.
It took another month and a half to build that back up and lost 25lbs in the process.
I don't like cactus!
