Signs of Spring

I've posted pics several times from my lunch time outings to a local cemetary. I thought I'd have lunch there today. My older, better camera broke so not quite the quality pics as before but you can get the idea.

This first buck seems to be starting out the right way to me.
This last one I threw in for Springville Shooter, go read his death from above thread to see why.

It's about time! Though I do have to question it sometimes when I see it snowing in the mountains though! I saw 9 gooslings the other day too and thought it must be getting warmer!
No sign of any bucks right now but hoping to get out and hike here soon and see some!

Rogue squirrels beware!!! Some steal lunches, some eat funeral flowers at the cemetary, all must die in my opinion. Cool pics too----------SS

In typical Utah Spring fashion it snowed about 2" this morning. No 96 degrees here.

I've noticed that the bigger bucks leave the cemetery. One might show back up in the late fall rut. If he sticks around I'll take pics of his progress and post them up.

Thats the right cemetery. I work close tothe U of U campus so it makes it easy to pop over there, eat a sandwhich, and watch the half tame deer.

Thats what I thought it looked like. I live right by that cemetery and find myself passing through there at least once a month if not more often than that.
