SILENCE!

Wondering about silencing accesories lately and was wondering if anyone has any answers for me!

First question is placement, I have some "bow jacks" on mine and have them set very close to the cam's. I was watching a show on tv and his one was rested right above his peep and his other about half way up from the bottom. Im sure placement makes a difference but where is the ideal place? I tried moving them a little but i get excited when i shoot and cant tell a difference.

Second question is number of accesories, while watching the same show i noticed the guy had bow jacks plus the string leeches. Does adding more really make it even quiter? Wouldn't that slow the bow down in theory?

Im sure ill think of more but i wanted to write what was on my mind before i forgot! lol

One of the best things you can have is a string dampener. Lots of bows come with them now. They will screw into the riser opposite the stabilizer. I don't think they rob you of any speed. I have no string silencers at all, just the dampener and limb jacks.

If there is a threaded hole for it you can get one for about $30.00 or so and install it.

it does have the threaded hole but dont they need to be certain brace heights, length from the string, things like that? My bow is probably about 5 years old (if im lucky) and it is not a parrallel limb bow.

They are adjustable. Go shopping and take a look.

I have one of these on my Reezen. It's probably the best thing you can put on your bow to silence it.
