Hey everybody have you guys/girls seen the snow here in New Mexico. Here in Las Vegas the news said that we have 24inches but I think we have more than that. I'm just stuck here inside, snow is to deep to get down our canyon to the ranch. I'm glad we fed our horses, and cows extra yesterday. Plus I finally got that buckskin, and he's going to need alittle work but I think he's going to be a good horse. How deep is the snow where you all live?

The snowpack in or near the mountains where I live has been truly impressive. They say we are 340% above normal. Just traveled over Cedar Mtn. this past weekend and the snow banks are very impressive. I believe some of the snow banks may still be there at the end of July this year. They had a good 10 feet as of a month ago or so.

I don't exactly know how much snow pack we have, but I do know its above average, so now it should be way above average. They said that we got 36inches on our snow pack just yesterday.

i used to live in rio rancho, i know that is a different area but in the 5 years i leved there the biggest storm we got was about 6-8 inches. but man 2 feet in nm is a lot. :thumb
