I think it looks kinda like those glass things with the sand in it.

(Not an hourglass....those double-paned displays with the sand designs in them)

It is actually Milo. When the elevators in western parts of Kansas get filled they start piling on the ground. It looks pretty cool, always reminded me of Navajo sand art.
