While working in MN in 2006 I personally saw one wolf in the wild and while working near the vets office saw the damage that wolves had caused to 2 cows and a horse. The cows had thier flanks torn up and the horse kicked a fence when the wolves came around him and took the hide clear to the bone off his shin.
