Some People

Ok so I put one of my trail cameras out last wenesday up corner canyon. I went to check it today (Saturday 14th) I get up there and its gone! It angers me that a fellow hunter would steal a trail camera off of the mountains. ( and yes I know that it was a hunter from my other camera up the trail a ways, luckily it did not get their faces.) Anyways if anyone hears anyone talking about this i would love to hear about it. And if anyone knows of where a can get another moultrie camera for a good price I would appreciate it.

UVU- what kind of trail cams do you have? if you have a moultrie, you can get a metal box at cabelas for 50 dollars. You might want to try it. Did your trail cam get scooted down the tree cause its like level with that guys knees

Well this one is a bushnell and it doesnt have a lazer coming out so i cant see where its pointing very well. I like the moultrie D50 thats the one that got stolen, I have another one on its way. Does the cage fit the D50 cameras. I will have to look into those. Thanks

Do you know for a fact that this other hunter took it?

Just asking if you have any solid proof other than a hunters pic from your other camera, maybe he did take it, or he could of just been in the area hunting and you got his pic.

I dont know why people think when they come across something of value they think they can just steal it. (???)

It stinks but I will absoulutely secure anything I leave on public or private ground, I have had more than a few tree stands stolen off of private ground.

Honestly I dont know for a fact and I probably should have put that in my first post. But if simething would have came up then I could have asked the hunter a few questions. I know it was a slim chance and I figured it was worth a try. I am going to be locking up mine from now on also.

Thanks for all your comments and suggestions though.

What I did was go to Home Depot, buy four locks keyed the same, three-sixteenths cable, and cable clamps, and made cables. Then I lock mine to the tree. Haven't lost one yet. #-o
